Our grand-dog, a golden retriever, had terrible itching and scratching problems before we started making goat milk dog soap. We formulated it using only dog-safe ingredients, omitting avocado oil: great for people, but can be toxic to dogs. Instead, we included neem tree oil, for its special skin-benefitting and pest-repelling properties. For scent we use lavender and peppermint natural essential oils: dog-safe and also pest-repelling.
To use, wet your dog, rub the soap on her fur to lather, then work it in to the skin with your fingertips. Rinse thoroughly. As with any real soap, keep out of eyes. Not for use on cats.
